This page documents the settings in the Objects section of the Settings configuration file.

shaders

This boolean setting currently has no known impact, but is intended to enable shaders for objects other than water and shadows. To configure the water shader, see the Water Settings Section. To configure the shadows shader, see the Shadows Settings Section.

The default value is true, but whenever the setting file is written by the game, this setting is currently reset to false. This setting can only be configured by editing the settings configuration file.
